Investment has a lot of definition. But in plain context, it is something that you allocate something to with the expectation of a benefit in the future.

Let say for instance you decided to buy a seed in a local flower store just because you wanted to experience what it feels like to grow a plant, so you dug a little hole and put the seed in. You water the seed everyday. You give it enough recommended sunlight. Now it’s starting to grow branch and leaves, and then sooner became a tree.

Investment in its best form is something that gives you a positive return. In the given analogy above, you took the time to study about the seed and by the time you realize you are enjoying literally the fruits of what you sought to be a plant only.

Investment come in many forms such as Stocks, Mutual Funds, Annuities, Education, Security, Insurance, etc. The opportunities are endless in investing. You may also do multiple forms at the same time.

To answer, all investments are good. It is mostly dependent on how much time, patience and value you will give to it.

Nowadays most of the investment requires money but given this, you can expect a return of it (ROI) soon when you played your cards right. You may also invest in primary assets. The ones you will need in life are the better ones to put your bet on. And of course, one shouldn’t neglect the fact that we should always invest in ourselves because that is solely the purpose of why we thrive, for the betterment of us.
